It was love at first sight with Nicolle ll. My wife and had been talking about getting a boat for  some months and we were visiting some friends who have a boat moored at Elton Boat Club and next door was Nicolle with a for sale sign. After a tour of the boat  and talking to the delightful owners, we struck a deal. They were sadly having to give up boating due to major health problems.
We have now been moored at Oundle Marina  for 18  months and during that time the steering, the electrics and rudder replaced. The boat is in fair condition for its age and has a good engine, though two stroke is a bit of a pain
The hood's now showing signs of wear and also suffered badly with seagulls using it as a bombing target last winter and badly stained it to almost white I now have a big plastic Owl on top of the deck to try and deter them. So its patch and make do while we save for a new one. Any idea of cost Trevor? The side panels are in good nick.
Apart from that some cosmetic tidying up need to be done on bit of paint, but I have tidied up the interior first.
Our main waterway is the river Nene, which is not too busy and very beautiful. With my wife not planning to retire for another year we don't go too far . just weekend stuff. Great fun and we love it.
